On NYS Attorney General's Indian Point License Renewal - Friend of the Court Brief

“During the Shoreham debacle we learned the hard way that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission could not be trusted to protect the interest of Long Islanders, and Governor Mario Cuomo stepped up and shut down this ill-conceived nuclear plant. Today, Attorney General Andrew Cuomo is taking an important step to protect the safety and public health of all New Yorkers by filing his Friend-of-the-Court brief.”

Renewable Energy Long Island (RELI), is a not-for-profit clean energy advocacy group conducting outreach and education on clean and renewable energy technologies.

RELI was established as a successor organization to the Long Island Citizens Advisory Panel (CAP) which was appointed by Federal Court Judge Jack B. Weinstein in the wake of the Shoreham controversy.
