How do I obtain the reLI Professional Membership Logo? Once you have joined as a professional reLI Member and paid your membership dues for the year, you can download the respective membership logo here: Gold Membership Logo Silver Membership Logo Bronze Membership Logo
Where can I post the reLI Professional Member Logo? You can post the logo that represents your level of giving on any of your promotional materials, including, but not limited to your website, brochures, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, newspaper advertisements, business cards, etc. Please note that the display of reLI's logo indicates your company's support of reLI's endeavors, but does not convey or imbue your company with any "green" certification.
Do I need to get approval of my promotional materials prior to printing/releasing to the public? Yes. While the reLI Professional Membership allows you to use the logo that represents your level of giving, prior to posting to or printing promotional materials you need to receive approval from reLI of the wording and representation of reLI's logo.
How long does my membership last? Your membership dues are good for twelve months from the day reLI receives your dues payment. Eleven months after you pay your membership dues, you will receive a reminder to renew your professional membership.
Can I link my website to reLI's website? Yes, you may link your Professional Member Logo to reLI's general website or to the listing of Professional Members so that your customers can verify your membership.
Can I say that I'm "recommended by," "approved," "qualified," or "certified" by reLI? No. Becoming a reLI Gold, Silver, or Bronze Professional Member does not mean that reLI recommends your company over other companies and reLI does not certify any company whatsoever. If you are a Solar Contractor who is listed on reLI's www.SunshineIsFree.org page you may state that you are listed as a reLI Pre-Screened Contractor or reLI Pending Contractor, however, this is not equated with certification or recommendation.
Here are some examples of how you can use the reLI Professional Member Logo in your materials:
Include the reLI Professional Member Logo on your promotional/marketing brochures, graphics or signs in your booth when showcasing your company at related industry events.
Include the reLI Professional Member Logo in your Annual Report, Report to Board of Directors, and any informational documents.
Encourage employees to add the reLI Professional Member Logo to the signature line of their emails. Be sure to include a link to www.RenewableEnergyLongIsland.org.
Add the reLI Professional Member Logo on your company stationary.
Display the reLI Professional Member Logo on all of your employees' business cards.
Professional Member Logo Use Guidelines
Only reLI Gold, Silver and Bronze Professional Members are eligible to incorporate reLI's Professional Member logo into business stationery (examples letterhead, business cards), web site, and promotional or marketing materials.
The reLI Professional Member logo may only be used to indicate that your company is a Professional Member of Renewable Energy Long Island. It may not be used to imply reLI's endorsement of any of your company's services or products.
The reLI logo may not be altered or combined with other symbols or words. It must be displayed in full, however it can be resized to meet your company's marketing needs.
The reLI logo, the acronym "reLI" and the formal name "Renewable Energy Long Island" shall be used only in context to represent membership.
reLI retains sole ownership of the logo all times.
The user releases reLI from any claims or injuries incurred by reLI from the use of the logo by the user for any purpose other than to indicate membership in reLI.
Misuse of the reLI logo may result in termination of membership. Evidence of misuse will be referred to the reLI Executive Director for appropriate action on a case-by-case basis.
**Renewable Energy Long Island (reLI) reserves the right to deny membership to anyone at any time at reLIs sole discretion and without prior notice, returning a prorated share of the dues payment. reLI reserves the right to add, change, and modify these conditions and rules at any time and without prior notice. All annual dues are non-refundable and are due and payable on each member's renewal date. Membership dues can be increased on an annual basis.**
